Photographer’s Note
Taken at Northwestern Tasmania near Stanley.
The Nut - huge flat-topped circular headland that dominates the town. It’s 152 metres high, with a path and a chairlift to the top. Up there you can take a bracing walk around the edge and enjoy the wind in your face, the sun on your back and wonderful views up and down the coast. ;-)
Have a nice day all, guys.

Hello Radim,
Very beautiful light on your photo: it smells the end of the days with little warm in the light. I like the composition putting the barriers in the diagonal driving the look to the Nut.
But I do not understand why you put the photo in a so large black frame. It is like looking the photo on a TV screen.

Nice composition and colors, a bit too sharpened, though. Regards.

hi Radim, very nice shot but frame is too strong. Too much black make this shot smaller and not so exelent like it is. I will do some workshop to show how I think it can be better.

Hi Radim,
Beautiful place for long walks, excellent colors and that flatten hill in the distance gives a charm to the photo, is that a lake behind? Nature is amazing. I agree with sevy about the frame, sometimes we got carried away with frames...Anyway, good job and good perspective.
Best,
Gordana.

I think the first thing that this picture called in me was the nice strait line of the headland, with all the nice colors around it.
Then the Frame gives a deep aspect to the picture as if the headland is a small detail in the entire composition

Hi Radim
This is one part of Tassie I missed. It's pretty spectacular though. Your pov along the fence is very dynamic and really draws the eye to sea at the back. The details of the ruins are interesting too. Furthermore you were lucky with the sky.

Lovely light for this one: it enhances the subject showing it at its best. The composition is well realized: the fence leads the eye to the background and to the sea where the massive rock stands out against the cloudy sky. Good colours.
Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Radim,
Fabulous pov and sharpness. Very clever use of the fence to give depth and conducting our look towards the strangely shaped headland on the bg.
A really great photo. Congratulations for this one and the rest of your impressive portfolio.

Another great shot, Radim. Strong leading lines, beautiful colours, great DOF. It might be sharpened a bit too much for my taste, but otherwise it's faultless. Well done and TFS.
