another shot from the ngilgi cavs system i know technically its not perfect conditions down there are not ideal for photography but i wanted to show the vast size of the main chamber over 50ft high and 30ft wide seeing the people on te bridge gives some indication of the size

Belle photo de grottes, difficile a réaliser dans les endroits sombres. Amitiés Thomas

Almost like a mine exellent work here
Cheers,Braca

I do prefer the previous one but it does show how vast this place is. I like the way the lighted rock in the fg seems to point into the chasm.

What a pity you didn't take your other camera (hope this is a good lesson!) as it seems like the cave is wonderfully colourful and full of interesting details.
Also, a tip for when using flash in order to get higher shutter speed: make sure there's nothing in front of you, up to 15-20 feet (otherwise you'll get overexposed foreground).

Hi Adrian
Could not pass the other one.
Too bad about the flash, too bright in the front and ddarker in the back.
Thoses places are not an ideal situation for a photographer,a tripod will be more then useful, but forbidden.
On my first try,I had a point and shoot(nikon 5700)set at ISO 800 and placed on the rail.Still have to try the canon down there, eentually.
Have a good day
Charles

Hi Adrian,

Nice shot under difficult lighting condition, good capture of the atmosphere. TFS
