Photographer's Note

Taken in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. This national park is a part of the Tasmanian World Heritage area which covers about 20% of Tasmania.
One of the intersesting things in Tasmania is that behind every corner or after every hill a new world opens up to you. In the 55kms in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park I have seen so many differentlandscapes, from mountain to savanne to rainforrest. Really worthwile to visit.

When driving on the Lyell Highway from Queenstown to Hobart I came towards this spot and the first idea was to stop right at this point and take the shot. I think you understand why.

I've posted another photo from the same national park which can be found here.
