wow nice timiing

I don't think I've seen an image of a skimming fruitbat here, on TL or on TN - top marks for showing something pretty unique!

This is nice and sharp, the reflection is perfect and the whole scene is well composed.

Super shot, well done!

Amazing Reflection, I would like to see it with it cropped more, to just above and below the bat. Great work.

Hi Stephen,
I have memories of these bats in Townsville fighting over mango's in the tree outside out flat. Your image of this one is superb. what an action shot this is just caught at the right moment when making a splash. The reflections are just glorious.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hi Stephen,
Another amazing shot of a flying bat.
I should have taken it in landscape to accentuate the movement impression.

hello Stephen,
this is realy good. Haven't seen anything like it on the Trek sites before. Fantastic capture of the very good reflection. The softly focused BG and water allows the bat to star.Surprised you don't have more points.
regards
Bev

What a fantastic shot!!!! I love this. You could have cut the top lower, the blurred stuff is not necessary. How big are these bats? I love this photograph so much, it is wonderful colors, and the bat is fierce!
