[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Well it's rather ironic of me to post this image. In a recent article in the local rag about my recent exhibition, I made a slight dig at sunset photography...two weeks later and here I am posting one.

This shot was taken from Coral Bay. One of the most gorgeous beaches I've been to, as well as being the least populated with only two caravan parks in the small town and no residents.

Hi Brendan,
beautiful golden colors, I like a lot the composition with the very dark bird silhouette and the touch of the cloud.

hello breden,
what works for this picture is color change from bright orange to dark one and the bird figure. Excellant.

regards
mahesh

A slight dig at sunsets eh? What could have posessed you?:)

Im ambivalent about them, they look good sometimes though I wouldnt shoot them myself. Your image is fine, I guess it sort of fits the stereotypical "nice colors" look these photos try to achieve. You did throw a nice element into it and it looks good, but I know you can do something more serious, as youve done it before. This photo looks good, and Ill judge it on that, the rest of my remarks were as an aside. You can understand my lack of enthusiasm, I hope:)

A very cool, supremely serene shot - instant therapy, man, as I sit here in the big grey tower of my days in Tokyo.
Beauty, Brendan,
Francis

Good, exellent, and very special picture...
I love this kind of emptyness full of space for immagination:)

perhaps you can work on the halos around the bird.

the colors are nice and have an interesting gradual coloring. I especailly like the barely there cloud.

A nice shot, but I do think I like your more gritty shots better.

This is a really loveley photo. I like it so much.

The colours are so nice in the sky and the bird is so crisp as a shilloute.

The shot is very well taken I am so amazed by it.
