Photographer’s Note
Hello
I no longer care. I've just come home after bouncing about to hardcore techno like a lunatic.
I've had a hell of lot to drink, so I have to sit up for a bit and drink 2 litres of water so I don't wake up with a hangover (trust me, it's the only way)
So, my intelligence is somewhat reduced at the moment and I'll regret this in the morning.
Look at the photo, or don't.
If you don't like it, for god sakes grow some, and say so.
I really want to figure out how to take better shots and telling everyone how great the colours are...etc doesn't help.
What would you do differently here?
I'll be nicer in the morning.
Cheers

I grew some a long time ago, and don't mind saying so. So, to make myself feel better,.....nope, I do not like it. What is the center of interest?...Why is the photo too blown out on one side and too dark on the other?
Now, do you feel better knowing someone cares?

Well, I'd expose more for the sky and then use post processing to bring the stuff on the right out of the shade. I'd also crop it to get rid of some of the left side and the bit of balcony top right. I had a go at improving it, just very quickly and roughly using a crude selection tool (don't look too closely) just to show what it might look like if you worked on it when you're sober again. See what you think of the workshop.
I used to use the water torture method myself and can vouch for its efficacy, by the way.
Regards,
Andrew

quick change of name, so that you can walk on the water, this would give you a better pov, Great sky, too much buildings, did you take it with your beer goggles on or off?,but seriously its not that bad but I would have cloned out top right hand corner of the building, and had staggered forward a bit more and didnt catch the bend in the railing, but use it for leaning on next time. Extra two points for your note.
