A Shot from Hook Inlet Point in Queensland, Australia. I was lucky to get this shot, as tide was all the way out. The boat in the picture was actually the boat I was on, it almost got stuck!
It was an interesting walk to the boat :)

perfect, impressive and dramatic shot! Control of exposure is fantastic, every element is well balanced... Dark clouds, water and white sand are give a spectacular mix.
And... Yes, you were lucky!!

Those blue toned colours are beautiful. And it's a great composition, the white sand, the dark clouds, the POV, I just like everything about it!

A fabulous color scheme, Nick, with beautiful patterns to blend them together! I like the placement of the boat well to one side, to emphasize its smallness in the scale of things. Nice exposure to bring out the heavy clouds. Regards, Ken.
