This will be the final shot in my series Uluru formations. I have decided to end with the typical shot of Uluru (Ayers rock) at sunset.
Hope you have enjoyed the series :0)

Hi Wanda, amazing view of that famous monolite.
good colours and POV and good quality.
thanks, ciao

Wanda: pictures like this would tend to make one assume that perhaps you were the only photographer there on this peaceful day, but we know that probably wasn't the case. You did fine service for this way photographed rock... regards, c

Hello Wanda

bonjour Wanda,
j'adore cette image; elle me rappelle la galerie piterak. Le rouge est vraiment intense et vraiment en contraste avec la prairie.
bravo.

tfs and Happy new year

Hi Wanda,

This magnificent rock tops the list of places I must return to. I loved the time I spent here exploring Uluru and the Olgas. My family drove here on a tour of Australia from Brisbane and was joined by my grandparents who flew out for a few days of sightseeing with us at the rock. It rained much of the time which was quite unique to see in the desert, I recall seeing the rock from this vantage with white water tumbling from all cracks and crevices. The greenery here in this photo makes the landscape seem much lusher than it actually is - I think the low lighting accentuates the green tones more whereas during full sun the plants appear browner. You gave captured a perfect colour transition here on the rock surface, the bright red crest is remarkable. TFS.

Matt
