Photographer’s Note
Sydney is the most populous city in Australia with a metropolitan area population of over 4.2 million people (2006). Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and is located on the country's south-east coast.
The first European colony in Australia, Sydney was established in 1788 at Sydney Cove by Arthur Phillip who led the First Fleet from Britain. Built around Port Jackson, which includes Sydney Harbour, the city of Sydney has been called the "Harbour City". It is Australia's largest financial centre and a major international tourist destination, notable for its beaches and twin landmarks: the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Sydney has also played host to numerous sporting events, including the 1938 British Empire Games and the 2000 Summer Olympics.
This is the second post of this photo, but this time with a bigger file size and a higher quality.
This shot was taken 20 minutes after sunset. I was very happy to have such good conditions as it was a sunny and clear day in Sydney.
Hope you like it !

What a fantastic photo... I just love it. I have tried these type of post sunset shots but never with the results you have here. Shooting towards the west has kept some great colour in the sky while giving the sense of the city at night. Thanks,
Andrew

Bonjour,
Un peu saturé au niveau couleurs, mais celà n'en demeure pas moins un très joli cliché bien cadré.

Great shot Manuel,
The exposure is just perfect, as well as the time of evening. I like the guy on the dock. He is so small, with such a huge city in the background, but he is separated from it. He is in his own peaceful world.

Ryan

Hello Manuel -
A very nice image in deed. The image is captured at the right time of day (light still in the sky), exposure looks to be correct, and the long exposure has rendered the harbor a smooth silky look. I like the very long reflections in the water and the silky harbor accentuates the reflections. Well done.
Thanks for sharing

Des couleurs et des lumières très séduisantes de ce superbe endroit.

Hola Manuel.
Good exposure (good the 3 seconds) and also a good compositon.
They make a good and nice night shot.
Well done.

Very nice! Exposed just long enough to smooth out the water and to capture all the light, but not so long that the stronger lights got burned out. (Another 1/4 second and I think that would have happened to the lights in lower right.) Good balance of the pier and the opera house, too.
