[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Federation square aims to be the new cultural centre of Melbourne and was only completed in 2002. Its built over the cities main raiway lines and is paved in a colourful stone from western Australias Kimberley region. It can hold 15000 people and has large screen videos where people can watch sporting events. On the grey section of the building there are constant messages scrolling and you can sms a message and it will appear on the wall.
The shot that I posted previously of the glass and metal section of this building is on the left hand side of the building.
The lines overhead are tram lines, trams are still very much a part of Melbournes transport system.
Unfortunately the day was a bit grey and overcast and I find the shot is not very exciting, but I just wanted to show this building more completely rather than just a close up.

Hi Wanda, You are right, with the dull grey day you have a very underexposed picture here. Still, sometimes I find the colours come out even better on dull grey or rainy days. What was your exposure for this one. Have you tried to lighten it up at all with software? Your note is a good one. It is an interesting building.

Hi Wanda,
it is too dark for me. Like John I thought, that with some work it must be possible to give more light. Please see yourself, if it helps.
Regards Ulf

Hi Wanda!

This photo with the dominance of grey may result a little bit depresive, but there are some colourful spots that help us to cheer up. The building is very impresive and very interesting. Well done!
