Photographer’s Note

Over eons of time, the different peoples have come and gone, from the first people who arrived from some distant shore across these very waters, from whom thousands of generations were to be born, and pass away, to the arrival of the European invaders and all the change and mayhem they brought. And through all the change these rocks remain unshaken, unmoved, as rocks will do, having born witness to the different peoples who came across the waters that sometimes lap, sometimes pound upon their sides....and it is only the water that will change their shape, mould their form, as they watch silently the fleeting existence of humanity.
