While driving back from the Kangaroo Island to Melbourne, to get the plane back to Portugal, I stopped as I saw these heat-waves... I had just found a new lake! :-D
The location stated and the coordinates for the map are far from accurate since my friend and I were driving back to Melbourne without knowing where the heck we were... But I suppose it was around this area...
Reduced the brightness to reduce the effect of the searing sun and added the frame...

Gosto Rui! Este efeito produzido pelo calor, esta névoa num dia de céu azul sempre me fascinou. Gosto das cores e do horizonte no centro da foto. A cena está dessaturada, não sei se resultado de pós-produção se do efeito do calor, mas eu gosto muito. Estas ervas secas no primeiro plano em bokeh são essencias para dar profundidade à imagem. É uma boa imagem mesmo!
Excellent composition! This is such an Australian scene - particularly during our current drought - and captures the arid land on a hot day so well. Good use of bokeh in the foreground. Well done!

most was said about this image...the place looks being burned alive...factor 100+ for the UV cream, thank you very much...the out of focus grass give your image a flair...cheers, arturo
