[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Early last Sunday morning I was walking around a local park, taking nothing but a lot boring goose and duck pictures... getting frustrated. But all over the ground were these feathers, still wet from the morning dew, as the low sun lit the scene.

Poetic sensitive and strong . A photograph with full contrasts, a genuine ECRIN for these water pearls.

Dear Chris, I like this picture because of composition and idea a lot, but at my monitor (I have calibrated it correctly with the greyscale Adam provides below each picture page) it has a big minus :(
Half of the feather is overexposed and only the ends show the waterdrops and feather details correctly. As you already know I have not really an idea how to fix that problem but it spoils the joy to look at the picture for me. Hope you understand. Yours, Jan

I like the repetition in patterns & shapes between the feathers & the leaves. Maybe you could have used the atomiser on the small feather as well? The brightness contrast level doesn't really bother me. To me, that's only critical in b&w images.

A great close up Chris. The waterdrops makes a big difference but they do not show on the thumbsnail. There is also a nice repetition of shapes from the feather to the leaves.

Superbe composition bien contrastée ! belle couleurs !

Wow, Chris, what a creative and very well captured shot. The dew drops are a great addition. Contrast is amazing. Well done.

This is a well spotted shot. It's tack sharp and the colours pop out. Nice eye catcher
