Photographer’s Note
Taken facing away from Uhluru (Ayers Rock) at the last gasp of a fantastic day, The light appeared to be dieing and at the last second blazed up in what you see here. I was very fortunate to catch this.

Hi Mark! I think you were certainly very fortunate to witness this beautiful sunset. Your posting does transfer something of the moment you took this picture. Thanks for sharing that. I do think though that you could have done much more composition-wise. Chosing an object for instance, making it the main subject of your picture, and with this stunning sunset as a background... I see that you made this picture already quite some time ago, looking forward seeing more of your work.

A sky of fire and amazing colors, I like the place on the photograph only for these clouds, framing is a little too just nevertheless, it misses something in bottom.

Sky looks amazing. FYI it is spelt Uluru, not Uhluru.
I share the opinion with the other critiques of it maybe not being composed ideally, but as we weren't there it may have indeed been the best composition available. I think ideally the horizon could have been on the bottom 1/3'rd mark which would have allowed you to push the large sections of blue sky out of the frame giving u a 2/3rd frame of amazing sky.
