[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken at the Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).
Kata Tjuta means 'many heads'. It consists of 36 domes scattered over the landscape. It is not far away from Uluru(Ayers Rock). We went on a 7.4km hike through many gorges and spectacular scenery. The rocks like Ayers rock change color depending on the time of day and when the light hits the rocks, this is due to the different minerals and rust in the stone.

Hi Wanda!
Excellent natural photo! Fantastic mood and POV! Lights are a bit strong, but its a problem for me, too! Nevertheless its an beautiful shot!
Thank you, nice days
George

Hi Wanda,
Great POV and composition. Lovely rich colours of the rocks. Well done! :-)
Cheers Tina

Hello Wanda,

What a beautiful scene you had chosen to capture! Interesting perspective, good composition, and the colors are undeniably striking. I find the blown sky a bit distracting to the scene however. This type of scene is difficult to meter. Perhaps stopping down your aperture to about -.75 will help preserve some of the details in the sky?

I really like the colours on the rock. It is representative of the true Australian Red Centre. The sky looks a bit overexposed but the composition is nice in general. WELL DONE.
Antonio
