Great North Walk Pt.2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Continuation of my northern trek adventure. I wish I was a bit higher up here, as the river was shallow and hard to capture much reflection at eye level. You can actually see a bit of sand at bottom right. The Australian bush can be quite magical and mystical. Highly reccommend the Great North Walk: 40 mins by train from CBD to Hornsby and then walk to Berowra station, 22km. Can take 6 to 9 hours depending on your fitnes level. Make sure you warm up those legs to avoid injury. Some streniuous climbs and descents involved.
Not much light in these surroundings, even thought this was quite a nice sunny winter day, and if you do get some sky or light coming in, it's hard to expose for both sky and bush. Nature photography is proving more challenging than I thought. |

Rob I like this tree scene very much. Composition is perfect, just some Photoshop Levels could help. If you do not mind I will add a WS to graphically express what I mean. For those of us who like walking...what a location ! Best regards, Robert
Nice scene, Rob. The workshop I think I prefer over the original image, to be honest, but I think it might take the levels a bit too far, with the colours almost leaping off the trees.
Looks like a lovely spot - thanks for sharing it with us.
