Photographer’s Note
View of Morton Bay looking out past Wellington Point to Stradbroke Island in the distance. The yacht appeared to be almost to have been painted on the blue mid winter scene.
Rime of The Ancient Mariner (E.H.Coleridge 1927)
"The ship hath been suddenly becalmed.
Down dropt the breeze, the sails dropt down,
'Twas sad as sad could be ;
And we did speak only to break
The silence of the sea !
Day after day, day after day,
We stuck, nor breath nor motion ;
As idle as a painted ship
Upon a painted ocean".

Hi Murray,
A good POV of Morton Bay, the photo has a good composition and nice colors. The different shades of blue are an asser to the photo. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Murray,
Great blue colours, very interesting to see how everything in your image picks up some of the blue tone..!
Well composed in a minimalistic approach, and the boat is a must for this one to work...
Greetings,
