Photographer’s Note
This Napoleon fish -- about as big as my torso -- was hanging around like a puppy at the Grear Barrier Reef. This was probably 10 or so meters deep.
This shot came out extraordinarily well considering that it was simply taken with a disposable camera in an Aquashot housing (w/ strobe).

Nice capture. I wonder what it was thinking at the time. "Who is this strange looking fish?"

Pourquoi cette photo est si peu critiquée ?
Et pourtant c'est une merveille !
Vous êtes un très bon chasseur d'images.

Hoalalala, what a beauty! I love when the difficult technical situation totally disappears, and we see only the beauty of the subject in its full reality.

This is excellent Mike. Obviously these fish are used to divers and you have done very well in exploiting that. I really like how he is sharp through the face then blurs out nicely, and the colors look good, although bluish. How deep were you?
