We are standing in a shallow tidal river estuary - it is low tide and you can see the distant ocean - erosion has left only this last plant desperately clinging to the wind swept sands.

With this surname you had to be a photographer....
Really nice image, great colours. All this softness creates a sad feeling, what a lonelynes!

Hi Paul.
I like the way you took this shot, bared tree on a bared ground, behind it a bared sky. You could put the tree a little bit to the right and come closer for a better shot. Also, a frame would not be bad to have here.
I hope you don't mind critiques, sometimes viewers see differently than the photographer.
