Photographer’s Note
I found this waterhole along the Todd River, which is normally dry. It is located just behind the Alice Springs Telegraph Station. It was getting late, so my interest was drawn towards the warm light of the setting sun. I've also shot this location with my 4x5, but haven't had any of the images scanned. My 35mm scanner is old, and really doesn't do justice to the tonal range and color that this scene holds. I just thought to dig it out to share another part of the world that I find fascinating.
All my images are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper (a traditional photographic paper).
