Photographer’s Note
Having moved up north to Townsville a couple of months ago I am still finding my way around this area,
shot this one from Castle Hill looking over to Magnetic Island (still have yet to visit), the temperture here is way hotter than Brisbane and the
wet season is due before long, overall I like this tropical city in North Queensland.

hi ian, amazing colours, i like this image - your new town looks like a project on a design desk of an architect preparing a draft of the marketing brouchure of new real estate; so this is how your new home looks like! nice;

The late afternoon light has given this an unusual colour cast, Ian, but if you've done no PP on it, then I suppose it must be real. Looks like Townsville Grammar has really improved its sporting facilities since I lived there 10 years ago. You'll find some great photo opportunities over on Magnetic Island. Cheers . . . David

Hi Ian, I like this kind of views and this looks like a nice little town. The picture makes me think of visiting the country so I guess it is a success. There is a heavy cyan cast on it though. Unreal as they may be everyone seems to like the colors, so be it.

Hi Ian,
A colourful panorama of this scenic area. It looks very warm and humid here. I like the POV and the ocean colour. Good proportions, with the mountains in the background well seen. An alluring shot. Well done.

Bonsoir Ian,
Une très belle prise de vue "aérienne" sur ce panorama formidable. Le PP est agréable quoique je l'ai trouvé un peu trop bleu au départ. Belle POV.
Bravo !

Hi Ian
Great scene although I do believe it is a bit saturated.
Almost a mountain but not quite Castle Hill is a perfect place for a 360 degree view of Townsville.
Gret POV and DOF.

Hej Ian,
Dont know if you yet have visited Magnetic Isl. but I remember from my visit 1991 that it was beatutiful tracks to walk. Me and my friend started in horseshoe bay and went over the hills bak to the habour. On our way we saw two koalas.
Your photo is very well presented and I like the view showing both Townsville and the island. The sea has an amazing blue colour.
