Photographer’s Note
At the mouth of the Barron River just north of Cairns city is a long sand spit that is exposed at low tide and one can walk hundreds of metres out into the ocean and look back, in a western direction, at the land and shore. Its an excellent place for an evening walk with a camera and tripod and get ready to photograph a real show at sunset. Here the sun is getting ready to put on a show. And did it ever do so during the next ten minutes. You will have to wait for the rest.

What a wonderful sunset ... I like the fine lines in the sand and of course the clouds.

Creo que es una toma irrepetible, la composición del cielo es perfecta y te lleva al punto luminoso, hay una rica textura en el agua con reflejos.

hi there, this is a really nice early sunset, i like the cloud pattern and the colours of the sky, this seems to be a perfect place to take sunset photos as the sun rays are nicely reflected on the surface of shallow water, and the wide flat surface at the front spreads really far on the horizon... good work :)
