The Captain Cook Bridge Photo

I took this photo of the Captain Cook Bridge from the Goodwill Pedestrian Bridge, Southbank, Brisbane.

The Captain Cook Bridge is the 3rd crossing of Brisbane River. Opening in 1972, it crosses the South Brisbane Reach of the river and links Gardens Point to Woolloongabba.

Four lanes of traffic are carried in both directions. This bridge links the South East Freeway to the Riverside Expressway.

I've saturated the colours a bit as you've probably noticed, so that I could bring out the nice colourful reflections.

Hello Claudia,

Very clear and colourfull reflections on this one. The headlights on the right end of bridge look like flames and the deep red on the left is a nice contrast to the shimmering water in the front. Good job!
