Photographer’s Note
I wanted to visit this place since I read a story in a portuguese newspaper about it, a few years ago.
In 2003 I had the chance. The guy in the newspaper took 3 days to visit it so I decided I would do it in one, after driving from Sydney to Melbourne and from Melbourne to there...I'm not sure but that's over 1000 kms for sure...you guys down under tell me :)
Anywway, it was an adventure...first time driving on the left, one way streets on the wrong way, a speeding ticket...and so on. It's funny to talk about it now but it wasn't so funny when it happened.
It is indeed one of the most beautiful ocean drives you can take.

Hello Mauricio,
A really great shoot this one, nice compo, good point of view, perfect light.
Weren't the Gibsons steps to difficult to climb?
We were obliged to do it in a hurry because a big big rain was coming and we arrived just in time at the car, not so happy weather as yours.

Hi Mauricio,
A very nice place indeed ! I like this parallelism between the waves and the clouds. Really well done, with bright colours and nice composition. I would have prefered less footprints, but well, not a big deal here :o)
Cheers,
Youssef.

The angles of the foam and the clouds give this picture a dramatic perspective, Mauricio. The colour, to, is very attrantive. Regards Kevin

It is a really great picture the perspective is beautiful and I remember how beautiful it was tio travel in this part of Australia.
