This photo was taken from the pedestrian footpath on the Storey Bridge in Brisbane City.
In my photo you can see the riverside, Brisbane river and Brisbane City. One type of river transport here is the City Cat as seen towards the centre-right of the photo.

I like your bird´s perspective. Indeed, good choice of POV. The blue colour of skyscrapers and the river fits. I wonder what are the big shadows over the river?

Beautiful view of Brisbane, I remember when I was walking on this bridge thinking how nice it would be to live here just in a building in front of the South Banks Parklands, thanks to share.

Hello Claudia,
Brisbane is an amazing place, the glorious blue sky, leafy suburbs, warm summers and beautiful surrounds. The Brisbane skyline has grown to become rather beautiful also, with the inclusion of some new buildings like Riparian Plaza (with the spike) and the now complete Aurora with the crane. I have lived in brisbane my whole life, but never walked over the Story Bridge, an obviously beautiful vantage point to watch the world. Even the river is a pleasant colour in this image, reflecting the days end. Tonight the banks of the river will be crowded with a million people to see the anual riverfire, when the city truly comes to life. Your shot shows us how much Brisbane has progressed. Excellent shapness, clarity and point of view also. Most well done.
