Federation Square has no lawn to speak of and so deckchairs are used instead to relax and rest one's weary legs. Summer, a muggy day, glare in the sky, no blue clear dome above- not the best for a photo. Still, I couldn't go past this motley arrangement of odd architecture, wires, beach umbrellas, cobbled expanses and people pretending to be at the beach.
May your weekend be as relaxing.

Complimenti e buona Domenica,Luciano

Cloudy sky it may be but it is still fairly sunny and the objects are casting shadows. So the parasols were obviously needed on this muggy and hot day, equivalent of our 1st September. Summer in the city... :-)

A very remarkable and in any case a striking architecture.
I've never seen that building before but I'd think it's a museum.
A beautiful presentation and a good composition with the wires in the sky and the relaxed life on the foreground.
Best regards, Paul

It is a beautiful square with the architecture all around but is is a very strange place to use as a beach indeed.
A very intruiging photo.

We see a lot wires above the people in the seats.
Also the modern almost camouflage building in background..
You chose a very well angle, this cares for depth and perspective.
Excellent composition, excellent presentation too.
Sharpness and clarity are perfect made.
A very well picture, nice presentation, TFS.
Have a nice day,

I'm amused by the idea that these people might imagine themselves on the beach. And the building behind is maybe the SBS Headquarters? It looks very like the Kinemax structure in Futuroscope, France. I wonder if they were both by the same architect. Nice one.

Lovely atmosphere of good mood in that modern square. I like the idea with those beach chairs. Well taken.

The scene is evocative of a set from Mad Max, the chairs and other paraphernalia arranged wllly nilly — only the trucks and jalopies are missing.

it wouldn`t be for everyone but I can understand the benefit of taking the weight off of your feet and enjoying the benefit of a little shade.
There are an interesting array of supporting features dotted around.
All the best Les.

Sem što je mesto neobično, pa time i zanimljivo za pogledati i prošetati se, teško da bih mogao da se opustim i uživam na njemu. No, ti si napravio odličnu fotografiju!

very unique and strange looking architectures. and a relative strange place for lounging as well. First I thought it was sandy beach, but it is all stone. Anyway, the relaxing mood is very clear to see and a good quality photo.

Nice shot of this beautiful place and the people are sunbathing. Good composition with the architectural components and cables. Good sharpness and exposure. Thanks
