Photographer's Note

I have photographed this same jetty about 18 months ago and really liked the perspective. I was hoping for a nice colourful sunset last night and headed out to take some shots. Unfortunately this little gem has now been "tagged" by graffiti artists.
As it turns out the sunset just didn't really happen, too much cloud maybe?
In any case I thought that the black and white treatment worked to emphasise the graffiti rather than ignore it, making it part of the scene.
My husband suggests next time I go to take a pot of white paint and undo the graffiti!
The Entrance is a district centre and town of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Wyong Shire local government area.
The town occupies an area of land that is bounded by water on three sides. The township with a population of approx 2500 gains it name from the channel that runs along much of its northern border that is the entrance to The Tuggerah Lakes. The Entrance has been a very popular holiday destination for many people since the first guest house was established in 1885.
