Photographer's Note

In the south west corner of NSW is the old river port of Wentworth sitting on the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers. All around are lush irrigation areas that were a verdant green in spring.
Just a few kilometres to the west, however, it is different and very dry country. Not far out from Wentworth is an extensive area of sandhills - Perry Sandhills. It is a spot where you can have a lot of fun and takes lots of photos. On my visit it was sunny but extremely windy resulting in the few struggling plants being blown to one side. The wind also meant good detail was to be seen in the sandhills.
