In the south west corner of NSW is the old river port of Wentworth sitting on the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers. All around are lush irrigation areas that were a verdant green in spring.
Just a few kilometres to the west, however, it is different and very dry country. Not far out from Wentworth is an extensive area of sandhills - Perry Sandhills. It is a spot where you can have a lot of fun and takes lots of photos. On my visit it was sunny but extremely windy resulting in the few struggling plants being blown to one side. The wind also meant good detail was to be seen in the sandhills.

a beautiful and good clear image, the sand formations looks fantastic and the lonely plant in the foreground creates a beautiful chromatic contrast in the composition,

Excellent detail photo with nice sand textures. The green plant is well placed in the frame, creating nice color contrast.
Very well done.

Welcome back, I've missed you and was only thinking about you last week. I was so sad to hear your news and hope that you're recovering. This is a beautiful photo, I like the way you composed it, emphasising the texture and the marvellous rich colours of the Outback. Thanks for sharing, have a good week.
