One never really tires of seeing pictures of this iconic building and yours is a very good one indeed. I like the close framing and the use of black and white, which brings a particular mood to the scene. The visitors give the whole a good sense of scale.

fascinating and original B&W study of this TE favourite. A great sense of scale here and beautifully effective crop. Magical!
Have a great weekend - Brian.

Très belle version noir et blanc de cette superbe structure emblème de de Sydney. On dirait vraiment des voiles sous le vent. Les personnes donnent une belle relation dimensionnelle.

great picture and choice of Black and White makes the one focus more on the shapes and structures in your image, which are quite outstanding. Nice tight frame. I like placing people at the bottom of the picture which is discreet and also gives one the sense of size.
Nice contrast and light as well as perfect sharpness.
Thanks for sharing

Hi Les - This is a really good tight crop of the opera house. I immediately begin to understand the scale of the building as it looms above the figures. Excellent details and strong graphic lines, I like this one a lot. Warm regards Rosemary

A very tight crop of the monument, allowing us to detail its delicate shape and discovering its dimensions thanks to the persons at the bottom of the picture.

A great take from this the most beautiful building ever made on earth!
Perfect in B&W.
Please take at look at two of my earliest uploads, similar to this one. You find them in the very beginning of my gallery, from almost one year ago.

The B&W is perfect here for the 40th anniversary of the opera house. Your image takes me straight back to summer in the 70's. If it was in colour I don't think that it would have that same effect on me. Great photo.

This version lets us see the details and textures of this magnificent Opera. Good to see it so close, with the people around. I like it in b&w!
