Photographer's Note
This cute little lighthouse was switched on on 1/1/1869. At that time it was at the mouth of the Port River. It had been transported in bits from England. The Adelaide summer made the living accommodation unbearable.
Kerosene powered it until 1976 when it was switched to electicity.
Its career ended in 1985 when it was moved as a museum piece to stand on the waterfront in Port Adelaide.

Hi Ian,
Very picturesque lighthouse. The strong red on the blue sky background is a perfect combination. Well seen!

Hello Ian - Imagine shipping a lighthouse half way across the world! An eye-catching and lovely shot. The vivid red and crisp white so beautifully presented against an attractive sky. Is the whole structure made from cast iron? I should think it was awfully hot in summer. Nice job. Warm regards Rosemary

Hello Ian,
The light and colors of the photo are vibrant, somewhat in contrast to the quiet repose of those people sitting quietly. Sharpness is excellent. Bravo.
Have a nice day

hi Ian
I must say its a nice shot. The contrast is nice here. The picture is sharp and that feather like cloud is adding more spice here. Nice one

Hello Ian
An awesome warm cold color contrast between the red & the blue with good sharpness & graphism. The people add scxale & context. Excellent density & light contrasts with a good upward pov on the lighthouse tower & its metallic framework. Tfs!

Hello Ian!
Large impressive photo, very sharp szintkontrasztok. Topic composition and well captured.
I have a little problem is that people are just a picnic in the detail visible. In particular, the right side. The omnipresent red tower, however, is brilliant :-)
Have a nice day.
Csaba
