Photographer's Note
When a man is killed on the railway track while listening to his I-pod or a woman falls
into a manhole while talking on her mobile, one wonders how solid is our tenure on this earth as individuals and as a species. The moment of our demise is ever present, hiding behind the hand of the clock and when we leave, Nature lives on unmoved, unconcerned, uncaring whether we are here or not, as it dances in the light, in the movement of the leaves, in the surges of the waves and the rush of the clouds.
The stillness and eeriness of an Autumn fog give rise to strange emotions and thoughts.

Mystical POV and deep thoughts there Klaudio. Excellent silhouettes sharpening into detailed trees and the soft glowing blue colored sky seems to reach out and color the darkness. Beautifully presented and with stunning clarity. Great Job!!

Hello Kladio,
You've posted an inspirational photo, and offered a thought provoking essay. Many years ago when I was doing problems on a main frame computer, I knew that the computer was doing computations in time-sharing mode — giving me a fraction of a second, before moving onto the next user. People who insist that they are multi-tasking, are simply doing processing in time-sharing mode. The brain evidently cannot process two things at once. The man listening to his iPod, the woman falling into a manhole, and those who are texting (illegal in many American States) are fooling themselves, thinking they are doing multitasking. The few seconds their mind wanders off into that confounded machine is when they fall into a manhole, or change lanes into an oncoming truck. It's scary!
Today I had an email from a good friend in Hawaii. It is precisely a demonstration that we cannot multi-task, but we can practice time-sharing. She wrote, 1) while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles. 2) Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change directions!
Regards, Klaudio,
Bulent

Hi dear Klaudio,
You're capturing well this beautiful nature scene by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see mysterious woods which were attached to deep sleep and sunrays put in the shape of radiation from between trees. the blue sky slightly looked into through between trees harmonizes well with this woods in the entire color balance. So emotional and inspired photograph!
Have a nice weekend.
Kind regards,
mikio

Hello Klaudio - This is exceptionally lovely. You have captured a fleeting moment where conditions conspire to provide a magical image. Spellbinding in fact. The shafts of sunlight through the mist swathed trees have been captured so well. Your note and image are thought provoking. What a pleasure to see. TFS and warmest regards rosemary

Hi Klaudio, nice work, exposure choice was good, with nothing blown out and still some detail in the murky depths - difficult to achieve with strong backlighting. I see you're using a Pentax, is that a permanent thing or still borrowing Andrew's? Cheers, Steve

Hi Klaudio
Looks like you got started before I did. And what a magnificent shot it is. The tall trees of Kallista loom like ghostly figures out of the morning mist. It's extraordinary how bright and light the sky looks, but I suppose there's an element of under-exposure in the lower half of the picture which adds to the spooky 'underworld' feeling, and reminding us of the coming winter. Was there really, truly, not one phone-zombie in the vicinity, thumbing away furiously at the buttons?
Regards,
Andrew

Dobar dan Klaudio, it's nice to see you're back. Only man is aware of his own demise among all species and suffers the pain of leaving the world someday for an unknown destination, throughout his life.. The sun hiding behind the tree is for me the hopes-side of the life. I cannot imagine anything without light. Wonderful composition, silhouettes of the trees and with your note, one wants to stay longer, watching it. Have a nice weekend.

J'aime l'atmosphère que dégage cette photo. Très belle composition, le soleil derrière l'arbre, le ciel bleu, les arbres qui s'étirent, la lumière qui illumine le vert tendre... Superbe !
