Another photo of snow gums just outside the town of Dinner Plain in the mountains of northeast Victoria. This old tree has seen many tough winters, and its companion on the left has been bent over by the wind. Snow gums are a species of Eucalyptus that grows in areas that get snow each winter, and they often get red and green colours on the bark in autumn.

Another nice portrait of these wonderful old snow gums with their knarly lichen covered branches and beautifully coloured and textured bark unique to these trees and to the Victorian Alpine region. Nice composition TFS
