Photographer’s Note
It was a holiday today in NSW and I went for a walk with my son on one of our favourite walks - the National Pass near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. The walk goes down through the Valley of the Waters and then along a ledge half way down a cliff face - truly spectacular what ever the weather.
It had rained for the last few days and this morning the valleys were clogged with fog. As we descended into the valley we came across this misty vista. That's a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo sitting in the gum tree. More photos from the walk will follow.

Hi Ian, Wentworth Falls is one of my favourite places, so can understand your sentiments here. The mist is just beautiful and the cockatoo is a bonus. It really is a mysterious and peaceful place, thanks for bringing that to TE, Lisa.

Hello Ian,
The image is strange and attractive, translating misty environment accurately. It is damage which the light did not clarify the trunk and the foliage of the tree. Nice idea, very pleasant image. Cheer.
Have a nice day

Hi Ian,
Nice image of the ghostly gum tree, with interesting Casuarina leaves in the right foreground.

Hi Ian,
Mmmmm - I can smell and feel the freshness of the mountain air. I love that mountain country :) I enjoy listening to the screech of the Sulphur Crested also :)) Nice use of verticle. Ms Depeoples says it is a mysterious & peaceful place - I agree.
Regards,
Graham
