Photographer’s Note
As i was passing the port tonight i could see the setting sun shining down the side of the ships tied to the berth. It's such a shame that since 9/11 we can not get access to our ports and have to stand hundreds of metres away behind cyclone fencing.
Just managed to climb over the railway line embankment much to the disgust of the security guards and snap off half a dozen images.
I altered the white balance to cloudy to give the extra orange/yellow effect which is similar to a warming filter.

You've landed up with a very effective photo John - the change in white balance works well.

Hi John,
Warming up the white balance has worked well by accentuating the late afternoon light.
Boy it sure would be a security risk taking shots of these boats, you never know who would want that vital bit of information, NOT.
Like I said in my post, these bloody so called security guards are really getting up my nose, last time I looked this was a free country. A point I was at pains to point out to the bloke who tried to apprehend me.
Enjoy your weekend.
Regards
Peter
