Photographer’s Note
I came across this couple enjoying a drink outside a central Sydney bar. Australia does not allow smoking in bars and restaurants, so that there has been quite an increase in people drinking at the pavement tables. For much of the year, Sydney has a good climate for it too. I sometimes wonder about taking peoples pictures in the street, but with these two there was no concern, they were both delighted to be photographed. I thought that they would be friends, but, in fact, they said, that they had only just met. They noticed each other because of their similar hairstyles and decided to have a drink together. I don't know if their friendship developed from here or if, after the drink, they went their separate ways. In recent years Sydney has become a very cosmopolitan and varied society. One is not surprised to find people of any sort in the streets.

Hi Kevin,
They seem to be having a good time. Smile is very essential part of this picture. Good contrasty shot. That hair is well framed on the top left corner. But it seems that she's slightly off focus.

Hi Kevin,
This couple is truly spectacular.
This haircut is both surprising and fascinating.
TE is also this: show the world as it is, show people as they are.
Best regards
Marc

Hi Kevin!
Nice eye to see this one. It really ends up being one full of life, and humour. She has a wonderful smile! A real comment on our times. This hair style seems to come and go, and seems to endure the decades....strange in some ways. Nice work! take care,
Steve

Wow, this is a hair cut style that I can only dream off. I am now quite bold on top of my head! I really like the way she was smiling for the shot. They look very happy.
It is a very nice picture, with superb DOF and stunning colours. Well done.

Olá Kevin, very nice set of artistic haircuts. He makes a bigger impression but it's her smile what I most like in this capture. Me and Ana were flying to patagonia by the time you took this one ;-)

hello Kevin
Long time no see ;)
I love your title! it fits very well to this picture!
Funny, these people, who look very happy, sat at the same table for a drink because of their similar 'Iroquois' hairstyle!
I do appreciate as well the framing.
Cheers
Marilyn
P.S Hope everything is fine with you ;)

Hi Kevin,
this is an interesting and (if I may say so) very "friendly" capture :) I like the mood of the moment and the girl's smile.
Yes, some people like to be photographed, but some just hate it! this is a real problem for me because I like taking photos of people ... and yet, I am not brave enough to come up and ask if they mind my taking a photo of them. Moscow is a very unfriendly city :((
Best regards,
Elena
