as a nation braced itself for nigthts and days of indiscriminate aerial bombing we happily danced and drank our way into the new year...

Hi Kamran. A beautiful sunset; in stark contrast to the events you describe in your note, which gives a completely different mood to the picture.

This was a great sunset, indeed. The colours are really warm and let guess another hot day. I hope Victoria can get out of that extreme weather soon. Well done.

The sky is stunning and you've shown it off well by just having a small portion of the typical suburban rooves. It's composed so well with the tree adding dynamics.

A wonderful sunset, one of those we'll never ever see over here, in the Land of Grey (Holland)... But I do remember a similar one a long time ago, in South Carolina, those skies were on fire, no different than what I see in here. A picture that transcends technicals, this is Poetry.
