Photographer’s Note
This is another shot of North Curl Curl - I promise I'll stop with the Curly thing after this one :)
To the far right you can see the headland which is where I took photos from of the rocks and bushland in previously uploaded photos.
You can walk from there to Manly in about 1&1/2 hours and there are very interesting rock formations along the way.
I grew up in Curl Curl and you can see the roof of my old house in the far left BG closest to the sand dunes.

Hi Lisa,
Wow, those rock shapes and patterns are amazing and the rust-coloured lichen makes them even more interesting. I really love your composition here with the rocks in the foreground and just a little bit of "civilization" in the background. I think even cropping the picture just below the beach would make a great alternative shot a sort of abstract work of art. Never mind, I'm in an abstract mood today! ;o)
Great job, thanks for sharing!
Best wishes
Claudia

Ciao Lisa,
che strana roccia. Sembra plasmata. E' per caso di origine vulcanica?
Bello il contrasto che ottiene con il verde del mare.
Ottimo il DOF.
Un caro saluto!

Ciao Lisa. Lucky you to have childhood and teen memories connected to this beautiful place. Superb colours of the sea, the snake like curling rock formations and the detailed distant features all combine to create an inviting and fascinating scene. Nice vertical format and excellent DOF. Saluti Lisa. Klaudio.

Hi Lisa
The patterns in the rocks have almost an old drift wood texture, the colours in the rock stand out well against the green sea in the BG.Very fortunate to grow up in a beautiful place like this.
Another good image.
Have a great day

Hi Lisa!
Great textures & colours in this vertical capture - but a bit too dark & contrasty for my tastes: I did a workshop, with some notes.
Cheers,

Hi Lisa,
This one I missed, took the bus to Manly without going this far. Those stones are indeed curly. Texture is very clearly on this exposure. And beach in the background gives good idea of surrounding landscape.

Hi Lisa,
A very fine idea and the vertical perspective gives you lots of opportunity to capitalize on those amazing rock swirls. Good colors and fine sharpness and clarity. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Lisa...
what strange cliffs, ideal for abstract photo.
A good and interesting subject for your excelent work! Many compliments...but a contrast element would be well...i think.
Cheers

Quite peculiar and interesting rock formations which create a fine graphic effect and an emerald sea water are enough to make this composition very appealing. The light seems strong and yet you got fine saturated colours. Probably you used a polarizer filter?
As a seascape lover I welcome this composition (ad the other ones as well)and hope to see more. Well done,
Donato

Growing up in such a place, I think is a very good experience! You must have lived unique moments, sunrises, sunsets and the infinity of the sea!
You framed very well this one with an amazing foreground. I like the vertical choice that emphasizes these “curly things”. You also handled very well the light.
Congratulations on this excellent shot!
