Photographer’s Note

This boat was anchored to shore quite a distance from the water when we arrived. However since it's so flat it didn't take much of a tidal rise to reach the boat, the water was nearly touching it within an hour.

This was taken on the north Cape Tribulation beach, just past the town on the last pull-off from the road.

there is a really peaceful feeling to this image. wish maybe the horizon line did not cut through the center of the image. i like the openess however. very nice image.
