Hi Adrian, An amazing little place among these (i'm sorry to say) monstrosities, to me this is a fine piece of architecture & the WS looks great, good detail & great light, the place looks Tudor, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Nels,
I like the angle of street. I do remember this area; somehow, even with the skyscapers, Perth feels a lot like a small town to me. and then there are the ubiquitous wheelie bags of the tourists. I just got mine out of storage for my coming trip. HLJ, Pat

Hi Adrian,
Great shot of a remarkable building, which really puts its neighbours to shame. Workshop adds an extra perspective, Fine work, TFS

Cor blimey, they have some english shops! I don't believe it. Thought they hated pommies.
Now I know why its there, they always got to be bigger so they built a small english facade to prove it.
I like the lady waiting for the bus, it gives something extra to the image. However the bloke crossing the road seems a little out of place.

Hi Adrian,
Very fine details and colors to this tribute to the home country. Very nice clean chrisp colors and the the people crossing the road adds a nice bit of definition to this photo.

Ha, good find on your part Adrian. You've composed it well allowing the showing of the two monstrosities on either side.
Thanks, John

Good quality of photo in excellent light and sharpness, but I think they have gone a bit OTT with the building. It's like a caricature of a Tudor building. Not your fault of course and just my opinion.

Hi Adrian - I know this building well, nice architectural contrasts, I wish the street sign at left had been avoided, the inclusion of the flag was great though. I wonder why the street appears to be deserted, sunday morning perhaps?

Hi Adrian - is it fake or did they take out an old facade and build behind it? Either way it's a well-spotted and taken cultural juxtaposition. Nce one! Regards, Paul.

Hi Adrian,
I can't believe this you found this fine old building sitting between two modern structures? The colours are crisp, the light is good and I always like the inclusion of people, it adds extra interest. It's a fine shot mate....still wouldn't live there though!

A bit weird architectural design, I have to admit,
but I can also understand your reaction upon seeing
this one!
Makes these other two buildings look awful and ugly!
LOL

Hi Adrian. Nice contrast with its surroundings. Shame they couldn’t put an English flag on it, still at least the Aussy flag has a union jack on it. Well captured and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.
