This photo was taken at the Diwali festival in Perth. Diwali or "Festival of Lights' is celebrated by Hindus, Jains and Sikhs around the world for the victory of good over evil. The fireworks concluded the festivities.
I used my old Olympus point and shoot camera which served me well over the years before I recently upgraded to a DSLR. I basically take continuous shots during the fireworks display and hopefully get a few good shots. During the fireworks, I like to change shutter speeds between 2 and 6 seconds and the ISO between 100 and 200 to see which gives the best results on the day.
