Photographer’s Note
The January full moon promised to be pretty special, rising over the city: in this shot, I managed to capture the moon directly over the city's tallest building, St George's Tower (previously Central Park).
On this evening, the usual King's Park vantage spots for night shots of the city were quite crowded!

Hi Jeff,
The large version is very impressive, but it lacks on quality because of the 400kb barrier. There are compression artifacts in the sky caused by that. But that's not your fault, it's the TE restriction on that what let's you down.
But the view and the light over the city is absolute wonderful. A great shot, really good work..!!!

Hello Jeff,
This is a miraculous view of this delightful skyline, the moon gives it that extra unique element - if we didn't know any better we might think it to be part of the St. George Tower. The multitude of well lit roads in the middle ground sets a beautiful tone across the lower half of the image, while the buildings in the upper produce a cooler blue hue. I think that Perth has one of the best looking skylines in Australia - it is well balanced and picturesque and not cluttered like in Sydney. I consider the BankWest Tower to be one of Australia's most beautiful buildings. A great photo, I appreciate the LP. Like my most recent LP there is a little noise, but it is a useful tool and worth posting! TFS.

Hi Jeff,
A fine cityscape panorama shot. Good details, lots of interesting colors, and the sense of a very progressive urban center. Fine shot TFS. Gerald

Hi Jeff,
A very nice nightshot panorama.
The jpeg compression is a bit disturbing.
Meanwhile your light exposition is perfect.

You managed very well the light and the choice of capturing the moon over the tower was perfect! The definition of the details is excellent, too.
