Pemberton is at the centre of Western Australia's south western tall trees area with tall straight Karri trees being the most famous. Marri and Jarah are the other 2 main species.
This photo was taken looking straight up into the tops of a stand of Karri trees in Gloucester National Park just outside of Pemberton. The town is still a timber town but is also surrounded by great national parks.
