North of the hot inland town of Meekatharra in Western Australia we came upon a large desert area with only a little green vegetation. A fire had blackened some plants on the ridge line.
The scene reminded us of a well known Australian painter, Fred Williams, who used to base some of his paintings on scenes like this.

This is an excellent photo that shows the wilderness in Australia. The rich red earth versus the clear blue sky always gets my attention. Well seen and rendered, TFS.
