[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sunset camel rides are part of the beach culture in Broome, this is not an optical illusion nor tricky digital processing, but two groups of camels passing each other. The photographer is mounted on the camel in the centre of the photo, as we approached the blue garbed camels ( we were on the red ones ), I could see the potential of this POV. The camel ride was fantastic, after some apprehension as it rose from the ground and acustomising myself to the rhythm however it is not condusive to taking photos. When you ride a camel it walks slowly, but the passenger is tossed around in a series of gentle lurches, so you have to time a photo to coincide with the end of a lurch - fortunately I had had several disastrous attempts and worked out the process before this opportunity presented itself.

That's a great catch Peter. It's an excellent photograph of a very interesting coincidence.
Best wishes,

Great idea, fine execution. It does look like some sort of optical illusion. Perhaps it would be even more effective if you cropped part of the sky to get a panoramic frame. Just an idea. Otherwise, I have little to comment on (sorry), so you'll have to just accept the random praise.

Best,
m

Very very creative photo, hard to critizice maybe the horizon plane is a little inclined and the color balance could have a little more of red because predominates the cyan color, but is hard to say. Anyway is a really great shot. Congratulations and TFS.

Hi Peter,
Stunning view. Line of camels and their shadows going opposite directions. Surprising and funny. Well framed, strong graphical content.

Hi Peter,

It's amazing how you has captured here the coincidence and, at the same time, the difference. It seems a strange world: where the shadows are independent, and this is because your viewpoint is very original and very funny. The two opposite directions are an extraordinary photographic subjetc. The result, terrific. Very well seen. Thanks,

Angel.

Great shot. Perfect shadows, sharpness and contrast. Well done!

Hi Peter,
Very nice suggestive optical puzzle. Good composed. Moreover good picture, Regards Henk
