When driving across the Western Austrlia part of the Nullarbor Plain we ran into lots of rain and high winds. We stayed overnight at the Balladonia Roadhouse and during a pause in the rain went for a walk in the local forest.
Now, Nullarbor might mean no trees, but much of the Western Australian side is forested with eucalypts, many with light coloured smooth trunks. It is a beautiful landscape. There were also lots of wildflowers out - this despite it being a desert area with a history of failed agriculture.
Strong winds were blowing so I had to take the photo using a high shutter speed and high ISO.

This is an excellently composed image with lovely trees in perfect light. Superb contrast against darker sky. Well done.

fantastic light, the clouds are so dark and dramatic and the vegetation in the foreground well lit. This is the best situation a photographer could wish for.
You were in great time and place then.
