Photographer's Note

A step back in time to some of the old film days, after I recently found some old undeveloped rolls.

Another from that grand evening upon the salt lake.

Looking at these photos makes me realise just how far away all those road trips are now. It's a world away, another life. So distant that these memories almost feel as though they belong to somebody else.

Sometimes I wonder how long it will be until I'm compelled to head back to that world. It's a stunningly beautiful one, yet so frighteningly lonely. But still, the call remains.

I'm certain that one day I'll return to that life. Even after all this time, I can't see it ending any other way. It's where I belong. I think it always was. It always will be.
