[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
There is one good thing about being at the beach during Winter in Australia; in Summer this scene would be packed with swimmers and sunbakers alike making the most of the warm weather.

However this evening I had the place all to myself...

Ciao Julian
Molto bella la fuga verso l'orizzonte del pontile. Interessante il contrasto della struttura del pontile con la morbidezza e la quiete del mare. Bellissima la luce e l'atmosfera sel bianco e nero.
Ciao, Nino.

I like this BW sunset rendition, not often do we see such as good and well balanced exposure. Very nice with the lit lamps of the bridge. Thanks for sharing...Alex

Hello Julian,
A very nice BW shot, Aperture & shutter speed a good choice giving you good DOF and blurred effect on the water.
Well done.

Santo

Hi Julian.
Really good photo. The viewpoint and resulting perspective is great, with the pier almost vanishing completely into the water. Great long exposure, capturing the light superbly. I love the gentle waves on the water, not too soft because of the slow exposure. Nice b/w tones throughout the shot. Perhaps my preference would be for a bit of a crop at the bottom, bringing the horizon a little lower, but hardly of any importance. Very nicely done and the b/w was a good choice to reinforce the mood of the scene.
Regards,
Andrew
