Crossing the western parts of South Australia The Eyre Highway hugs the coastline. Just a short distance off the highway are incredible cliffs where the Nullarbor Plain meets the Southern Ocean.
At this point you could see numerous points of cliffs jutting into the sea and stetching into the distance. A magical sight, especially with the dark threatening sky.
All these were once under the sea and you can see different geological layers within the cliffs. The main rock along the coast is limestone and with large chunks regularly braking off into the sea.

Notwithstanding very bad weather get we a very good picture.
You chose a very well angle these cares for depth and perspective through the long line of rocks.
Your picture is absolutely of very high quality, perfect of colours, pleasant to look at.
Excellent composition, nice captured, lovely presentation
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice week,

Hi Ian. Much grander than the cliffs of Port Campbell National Park. These seem to go on forever. I just saw a programme on continents on which there was a demo of how Antarctica can fit into the southern underbelly of Australia- just like a jig-saw-puzzle despite the erosion.Lovely natural hues in this panorama. Regards. Klaudio.

I love the atmosphere of this shot Ian. The sea is beautifully captured with wonderful colours and textures and the line of cliffs add such good depth to the shot becoming hazier the more distant they are. TFS this, a super piece of photography. Warm regards Rosemary
