Photographer's Note
Near the town of mining town Leigh Creek are a series of hills that are part of the Flinders ranges and are "folded" making for wavy lines in the texture of the hills. The soil is red, the land is arid, the vegetation is sparse and, most of the time, the skies are blue. It is a spectacular semi-desert region.
This photo was scanned from a negative with the sky being just a little messy but not too bad.

Hi Ian, I knew this was Australia even in thumbnail. You just don't get those tones anywhere else in the world. I like the simplicity and the depth of this photo. It's agood scan despit the slightly noisy sky. Nice work, TFS and I hope you're not having too many problems now with your TE connection, Lisa
