Photographer’s Note
Through the mid to late 1800's Burra (actually Burra Burra) was one of South Australia's main copper mining sites. Little remains today of the once vast open cut copper mine. These chimney stacks from the old boilers and crushers stand testament to the workmanship of the Welsh and Cornish miners and builders.
This is a dry and inhospitable area about 150 kilometres north of Adelaide. The Agave seem to love it though.
Slight touch to Levels and Saturation in Photoshop with some Sharpening. The day was a little windy and hazy and not the best for photography.

Hi there David!
Seems you have been on holidays also! Nice shot! The landscape around seems great! Seems you have been showing some nice ruins of old mines. It's a good idea! I guess many people don't even know they exist. I didn't know you had so many!

Hi Dave,
Nice shot of the area, certainly very dry!! Like the road leading off to the right and the agaves in the foreground. :-)
Cheers Tina
